Enrique Gil, Ayaw Munang Magpa-Sexy

After showing off his sexy abs in a fashion show for a women’s magazine last year, Enrique Gil said it would probably take a while before he takes on a daring project. “As of now wala muna. So for the older fans, sige po, [pinanindigan ko yung pagpapa-sexy that night].”

The 20 year-old explained that he just wants to make the most out of his boy-next-door charm and play wholesome roles like the one he’s doing now for Princess And I. “Pero it’s an honor [to be part of that fashion show]. Nag-enjoy ako last year. The crowd was amazing.

Given his role as an aspiring prince in the teleserye, Princess And I, Enrique was part of the cast that flew to Bhutan to shoot some vital scenes. Asked about his experience in what is said to be the “happiest country” in Asia, he eagerly replied, “Ako ang pinakanag-enjoy sa lahat!

Enrique said that trekking in the mountains appealed the most to his outdoorsy nature.

Now that Princess And I is on its second week of airing, Enrique said that the viewers will get to know more about his character, Prince Jao. He added that he doesn’t mind being compared to Kathryn Bernardo’s two other leading men since each of their roles would add spice to the plot. “Naging ready na ako dun sa Way Back Home pa, nung kami nila Albie Casiño (Sam Concepcion would later take on Albie’s role) at Kathryn, napunta ako sa love team nila. So dito, medyo ganon din yung feeling.
