There are plans to bring the tandem of Angel Locsin and Vhong Navarro to the big screen.
According to a release sent by ABS-CBN's corporate communications department, Angel and Vhong are slated to appear in an upcoming comedy film.
"Kami daw ulit ni Angel ang magkakasama doon sa bagong pelikula. Syempre nagulat ako, kasi pangarap ko din ‘yun," Vhong was quoted as saying.
Angel and Vhong are currently working together in ABS-CBN's weekly comedy show, TODA Max, which also stars Robin Padilla.
In TODA Max, Vhong portrays a funny cook called Justin Bibbo while Angel plays Isabel Padausdos, his girlfriend whom he is about to marry.
Vhong's last movie project was the horror-comedy Bulong (2011) while Angel was last seen in the romantic comedy Unofficially Yours (2012).
Angel is now working on the Metro Manila Film Fest entry One More Try.
She is currently in Baguio City with Dingdong Dantes, Angelica Panganiban, and Zanjoe Marudo to shoot scenes for their romance-drama film.
Directed by Ruel Bayani, this movie will be screened in cinemas this December.
