Daniel Padilla Gave Kathryn Bernardo a Necklace

The parents of Daniel Padilla revealed they are in favor of actress Kathryn Bernardo if their son chooses to court his “Princess and I” leading lady.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News during Daniel’s fans day on Tuesday, Karla Estrada and Rommel Padilla said they have nothing against Bernardo as long as she keeps their son inspired.

“Kung isinasasaya naman niya at inspirasyon naman niya si Kathryn, alagaan niya,” Estrada said.

The actor's father, for his part, revealed that there was a time when his son thought of nothing else but Bernardo. “Laging si Kathryn naman ang dahilan,” he said.

Daniel has been vocal about his admiration for Bernardo in the past.

In an interview with "Kris TV" last February, Daniel admitted that he has been visiting Bernardo in her house. "Binibisita ko po siya sa bahay," said Padilla.

He added that he also brings her Bernardo's favorite food. "Mayroon po akong dala, kung ano ang gusto niyang kainin (cheesecake)," he said.

The young actor even gave Kathryn Bernardo a necklace during her birthday.
