With all his successful TV soaps and numerous endorsements, Enchong Dee was able to save up for his few luxuries like being a proud owner of a Porsche convertible and treating his family to out of the country trips during holiday vacations. At the same time, he has wisely invested in a property in Cubao which he plans to use as a residential/commercial building. “Pangarap ko kasi yun. Imbitahin ko kayo ‘pag natapos na. Pinapagawa ko pa. Depende kung hanggang saan kayanin ng budget. Pero sana umabot ng five storeys.”
Enchong further shared that building his own house isn’t his priority at the moment since he’s saving that up until it’s time for him to get married. Apparently, he wants his future wife to be involved in designing the house as well. “Ayoko pa magpatayo ng sarili kong bahay. Gusto ko ‘pag nagpatayo ako ng sariling bahay para sa pamilya na. Kasi, ‘di ba, ‘pag plinano mo yung bahay ngayon, para sayo lang. Iba yung design, iba yung room [na gusto mo kapag single ka]. Para matipid isahan na lang, pampamilya na.”
Speaking of love life, Enchong claimed that he and rumored girlfriend Julia Montes are still taking things slow. Although they admittedly go out on a date whenever they have free time, it doesn’t mean that he’s not respecting her lola’s wish for her to refrain from entering a serious relationship for now. “You have to respect lola kasi mahal niya yun e. She takes good care of her lola. Siyempre kailangan mo respetuhin kung anong gusto ng mahal niya sa buhay. Hindi ka pwedeng basta basta [dumiskarte]. Kaya kailangan mo maghintay talaga. Huwag nating abusuhin yung tiwalang ibinigay sa kanya.”
When asked about the gifts he has given Julia so far, Enchong kept mum about it but his handler let it slip that he’s a very generous suitor. Another source even shared that there are some items in Julia’s home which are given by Enchong. “Walang ebidensiya. The best gifts are the little things,” he simply stated.
