Gerald Anderson, who has always been open about his feelings for Sarah Geronimo, is happy that the Popstar Princess is more upfront about her feelings and their special friendship.
“It’s about time na siguro,” observes.
Gerald adds, “I’m happy. Si Sarah andoon na siya sa edad na iyon na hindi na kailangang itago yung nararamdaman mo for one person. She’s blooming into a beautiful woman inside and out. Someday, mas magiging independent and matured pa,” Gerald said at a photoshoot for the cover of a Summit Media magazine at Edsa Shangri-La on Tuesday, June 19.
Gerald admitted months ago that he’s courting Sarah and is grateful to her parents for giving him a chance to know her better.
“Yes, dumadalaw ako (sa bahay ni Sarah). Bihira na lang kasi busy. Kaya nagpapasalamat ako sa Geronimo family kasi kahit papaano nagtiwala sila sa akin na dumalaw ako and I’m very thankful for that. Mas lalo pa akong natutuwa sa Mommy at Daddy niya kasi binibigyan pa nila ako ng pagkakataon para mas makilala siya and I’m very thankful for that.”
Sarah, on the other hand, said she appreciates how Gerald goes out of his way to formally face her parents.
But since both of them are busy these days, Gerald admits he and Sarah don’t see each other as often as they used to.
Gerald has always been open about his feelings and intentions for Sarah.
In no hurry
“Ako kasi personally ayaw kong pumasok sa isang relasyon na kailangang itago pa. Hindi ako nagmamadali, masaya naman ako ngayon,” he admitted.
Sarah is preparing for her birthday concert “24 S/G” on July 7 and 21, while Gerald has been busy with overseas shows and work on the indie film “El Brujo” with Jake Cuenca.
“Nag-Singapore kami last week. Next week, London naman. Sa first indie ko, maraming dapat abangan doon kase magkasama ulit kami ni Jake Cuenca. Tapos, si direk Tikoy (Aguiluz) pa iyon,” Gerald shared.
Meanwhile, many are wondering if Gerald will watch or guest in Sarah’s upcoming concert.
“Secret. Sana sa July 7, tingnan natin,” Gerald said, smiling.
