Actor Gerald Anderson denied speculations that he has already stopped wooing Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo.
Anderson said he and Geronimo are still in touch despite being busy with their respective careers.
“Wala pong hinto. Kumbaga ang communication namin ni Sarah every day pa rin naman. Siyempre, alam naman natin na sobrang busy [niya]. Sarah is a superstar. Kumbaga meron kaming kanya-kanyang schedule. Hindi lang po natin kayang gawin lahat ng gusto nating gawin para sa isang tao. I’m just really happy kung anong meron kami ngayon,” he said.
Anderson said he and Geronimo are just enjoying each other’s company.
“I’m very thankful. Hindi po ako nagmamadali at mas nakilala ko na siya sa ibang level and ayaw ko po sirain ‘yon. Ayaw ko po i-take advantage. Mahirap pong i-explain na sobra kaming masaya sa estado namin ngayon,” he said.
It would be recalled that Geronimo and Anderson arrived separately at the premiere night of movie “Born To Love You,” which stars Coco Martin and Angeline Quinto.
Geronimo was even quoted as saying she was not aware that Anderson would attend the premiere, too.
Sarah's mom wants non-showbiz guy
Meanwhile, Anderson did not take offense over what Geronimo’s mom said that she wants a non-showbiz guy for her daughter.
Anderson said he knows exactly where Geronimo’s mom is coming from. “Kasi napakahirap at napakapersonal at mawawalan talaga ng privacy sa trabaho namin,” he said.
The actor maintained, however, that he will continue to prove to Geronimo's parents that he only has good intentions for their daughter.
“Hindi kayo puwedeng pumasok sa isang relasyon... Ito ang itinuro sa akin ni Sarah, i-base mo na magustuhan muna ang friendship n’yo. ‘Yun ang gusto kong gawin. At the end of the day, kung maging friends lang po kami, I’m so proud na I had a chance na mas makilala siya,” Anderson said.
