TELEVISION actor Rommel Padilla thanked his popular son Daniel for opening the doors of entertainment industry to him after years of hiatus.
"Lagi kong sinasabi sa kanya na thank you anak kasi totoo naman na nagbabalik din tayo dahil din sa kanya,” he said.
Rommel is now part of primetime series "Lorenzo's Time" with Carmina Villarroel, Amy Austria, Gina PareƱo and child wonder Xiajian Jaranilla.
Still, Rommel said they want Daniel to remain humble and share his blessings to everyone.
At baka biglang magsawa yan eh,” he said.
After the success of teenage show “Growing Up” and continuous dominance of "Princess and I” on primetime, Daniel is slowly making a name for himself in the industry.
The 17-year-old has also shown he can carry a tune. His latest album "Hinahanap Hanap Kita" recently turned gold or at least 15,000 copies were sold if based on the classification by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (Pari).
Daniel is Rommel's fifth child and only son with actress Carla Estrada.
When asked if he sees Daniel as the next Robin Padilla, he said all their kids who are now in showbiz aspire to follow the footsteps of their uncle.
