Yeng Constantino looks up to British actress Emma Watson’s street style

Gone are the days when we’d see Yeng Constantino clad in T-shirt, skinny jeans, and sneakers—a.k.a. the default punk rock style.
Lately on her weekly show ASAP Rocks and her other public appearances, the 23-year-old can be spotted in more carefully styled ensembles.
In an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) on May 31 at the Skarlet Lounge in Quezon City, where a listening party for the new Eraserheads tribute album The Reunion was held, she revealed how she came about her new look.
‘O eto suotin mo.’
“So, sobrang cool kasi pati iyon tinutulungan nila ako.”
Yeng’s look is mostly inspired by the fun, girly styles she finds from a Japanese magazine called Vivi.
Of course, she never fails to inject character into her style.
“As much as possible, when I put my clothes [together] nilalagyan ko ng signature ko—either iyong favorite print or favorite color ko.
“Ngayon nasa season ako, I think, nasa color palette ako ng parang medyo malamig.

Any particular celebrity style icon she tries to emulate?

No doubt, Yeng is inspired by the former Harry Potter star as she was wearing a similar street style ensemble to the event—a loose gray shirt tucked in a pair of black walking shorts, a gold bib necklace from SM Accessories, brown knotted belt, and a gold-faced watch with the same chocolate-shade strap.
