Gerald Anderson shares that wooing a girl for such a long time is a new experience for him, as he has been courting Sarah Geronimo for six months.
"Ito po 'yung first time ko talaga na manligaw na parang ganito talaga," he shares in an article by Hot Pinoy Showbiz. "It’s a new experience for me, and I’m just happy na pinayagan naman po ako. At ang ending po namin, we became good friends. So, panalo ako. (This is the first time that I’ve seriously courted a girl. It’s a new experience for me, and I’m just happy that I was allowed to court her. At the end, we became good friends, so I think this is a win-win situation.)"
Sarah, who will be turning 24 on July 25, is celebrating her upcoming birthday with a two-part concert series at the Araneta Coliseum, the first of which happened July 7. The singer had wished for freedom during the first show—something which Gerald wholly supports.
"So, kung 'yun po ang wish niya talaga, sana maibigay sa kanya. Before 'yung mga materyal na bagay, kahit sabihin natin na boyfriend pa or isang karelasyon—'yun [freedom] po muna ang ibigay natin sa kanya. (So, if that’s what she really wishes for, I hope she gets it. Before material things, even a boyfriend or someone to be in a relationship with—let’s give her freedom first.)"
Gerald says that he also has a birthday surprise for Sarah, but he’s not revealing his plans yet.
