After her controversial break-up with Piolo Pascual, actress KC Concepcion admitted that she's now seeing someone else.
"There was a time na sobra talaga akong natatakot ma-in love ulit. Ang tagal kong nag-open up sa guys na parang laging friend ng friend lang, [at] pag medyo nararamdaman ko na masugid, inaaway ko talaga na parang 'I'm not ready, I'm not ready, I'm working and it's not the time, I don't want to think about it. I've been through a lot.'
"Then doon ko nakikita kung sino ang magi-stay na guy. So dalawa (yung nag-stay) pero may isa talaga na kahit anong gawin ko to push him away to the point na gumagawa na ako ng excuse, nandiyan pa din," Concepcion said in an interview with ABS-CBN's morning show KrisTV.
She also revealed that the non-showbiz guy she's talking about is not a Filipino.
"He's not a Pinoy, he's pure something else but he loves the culture, he has never been here pa. Ayaw ko pa siyang papuntahin," she said.
"Yung isa, half-Fi[lipino] siya pero mas siya [ang] friend ngayon, hindi siya showbiz," she added.
Concepcion also said she now prefers to have a non-showbiz boyfriend.
"Ayaw ko na ng showbiz, dalang dala na ako," said the actress who's been single for a year now.
"Ngayon pa lang talaga ako nago-open to the thought na maybe, by the end of the year I can be in a relationship again but for the longest time, parang na-worn out ang heart ko, napagod talaga," she said.
Concepcion is currently hosting "X Factor Philippines " and the television series "Against All Odds."
