KC Concepcion inamin na may problema sa kanilang pamilya

KC Concepcion confirmed that a family problem has indeed been bothering her mother Sharon Cuneta when she posted last month a series of emotional tweets seemingly hinting at it.

"I think, aminin na natin, sa pamilyang Pinoy or sa kahit anong pamilya, minsan nangyayari talaga na napapasa sa ibang generation 'yung mga bagay na dapat ayusin. May mga times na parang ba't ganon? Pero it's normal lalo na sa mga close na family. No family is perfect. It's okay. We're in it together," KC was quoted to have said in an interview by Push.com.ph posted on July 17.

According to the article from the same source, the problem "has something to do with the dispute about the late Pasay City Mayor Pablo Cuneta's inheritance; and the fact that some of his children weren't able to get their share of it, including the Megastar."

KC explained, "My lolo is a very loving, generous man, but a very old fashioned man at that. So hindi siya naniniwala n'ung time na 'yun sa mga bangko."

She particularly reacted to a tweet where her mom wrote that she wanted to "disappear."

"[Yung sinabi niya sa Twitter na] gusto na niya mawala, huwag naman. Ma, dito ka lang," she said.

KC backs out of movie project with Anne and Derek

Meanwhile, KC will no longer be part of the Viva Films-produced movie, "Nothing Compares to You," where she supposedly would have starred with Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsey. This is so she could focus on the reality show "X Factor Philippines" and her upcoming soap, "Against All Odds" with Judy Ann Santos and Sam Milby.

"Boss Vic [del Rosario] was so kind, Viva was so kind to allow me [not to be part of it]," said she in a separate interview with PEP posted on Monday.

Nevertheless, KC is optimistic about the outcome of the film even without her in the cast.

"I think it's gonna be a great movie, papanoorin talaga siya ng tao. Probably kung sinuman ang papalit sa akin, meant to be talaga para sa kanya. I have a really good feeling about their movie. I wish them all the best," she said.
