Sarah Geronimo will welcome her mother, fondly called Mommy Divine, to the "Sarah G Live" stage on Sunday.
Last week, the singer's famous suitor, actor Gerald Anderson, took the hot seat, as Geronimo asked him questions on their blooming relationship.
Throughout Geronimo's career, Mommy Divine has figured in a number of intrigues, which allege her of being a demanding stage mom, and of supposedly intervening in the young singer's relationships.
Mommy Divine is also known to have instilled Christian values in her pop star daughter, who in turn, has been vocal of her faith in God in her interviews and live shows.
'Don't follow your heart'
Of her daughter's romantic involvements, Mommy Divine in February said she prefers a non-showbiz boyfriend for Geronimo.
“Lahat tayo hinihingi ang the best para sa mga anak at pinagpe-pray sa Lord na in his time na bibigyan siya ng partner o boyfriend, sana hindi showbiz,” she said at the time.
“Sinasabi ko do not follow your heart, kailangan una sa lahat Diyos at pangalawa isip mo, gamitin mo. 'Pag ito finollow mo (turo sa puso) most of the time nagkakamali ka, iiyak ka pero not all the time na lang,” Mommy Divine added.
Aside from her live interview with her mom on Sunday, Geronimo will be sharing the stage with her father Daddy Delfin for a "Family Night" episode.
The upcoming Sunday episode is the continuation of Geronimo's month-long celebration in solo musical variety program.
