Vice Ganda Nag Pasyang Hindi Pumunta sa concert ni nicki minaj para kay Dolphy

In light of the Comedy King Dolphy's death, comedian-host Vice Ganda believed it prudent to absent himself from the Manila leg of American singer Nicki Minaj's "Pink Friday World Tour" concert held at the Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday night.
Shortly after 4 p.m., July 11, Vice tweeted, "In respect to the death of the Comedy King I decided not to go to the Nicki Minaj event later anymore. Not a good time to party."
Dolphy passed away on Tuesday night, 8:34 p.m., in Makati City. The following day, his remains were brought to the ABS-CBN Dolphy Theater for the mass and necrological service. More, a public viewing was held reportedly from 9:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m.
Minutes past the Comedy King's official time of death, Vice posted, "Lord we thank you for giving us THE DOLPHY who unselfishly and passionately dedicated his whole life to make this world happy. Amen."
ABS-CBNnews.com reported in an article posted on Thursday that Vice, along with friend Kris Aquino, attended the service. It also listed Vice's "Showtime" co-hosts Ryan Bang and Vhong Navarro as two of the celebrity attendees.
Meanwhile, the "Pink Friday World Tour" in Manila was reportedly a sold-out affair, with Philippine Concerts announcing on Twitter, "Estimate Crowd last night at the @NICKIMINAJ Concert, 20,000! #PinkFridayManila"
According to a PEP article, among the local celebrities who graced the concert were Richard Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati, Tim Yap, Bangs Garcia, Bianca Valerio, Pia Magalona and kids Saab and Arkin, and sisters Lauren and Megan Young.
"Manila, I can't thank u enough for tonight! You guys were absolutely incredible. Best night ever! Thank u! Speechless..." Nicki tweeted.
In another post, the "Super Bass" singer gushed, "I think manila had the loudest encore screams I've ever heard! "WE WANT MORE, WE WANT MORE!!!!" So I ran bak out in my new pink robe! Ha!"
More, Nicki mused in an earlier tweet, "The Philippines kinda reminds me of Trinidad. S/O to the police escort... They rlly know how to treat a girl... ?#RichGang." MInaj was born in the island country of Trinidad and Tobago.
The songs Nicki performed in her concert were from her studio albums, "Pink Friday" and "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded." These included "Roman's Revenge," "Did It On 'Em," "Moment 4 Life," "Fire Burns," and her current hit, "Starships." She also did renditions of her collaborations with Rihanna, David Guetta, and Flo Rida namely "Fly," "Turn Me On," and "Where Them Girls At," respectively.
