In an interview with Push.com.ph, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 Big Winner Myrtle Sarrosa denied that she and Yves Flores have a mutual understanding about their feelings for each other. Although he was spotted hugging her tight right after the grand finale of the said reality show, Myrtle maintained that there’s nothing going on between them.
“Friends po kami,” she replied when asked about the real score between them. “Wala po [ibig sabihin yung yakap]. Lahat sila [housemates] na-miss ko. We were so used na limited people kami sa loob ng bahay tapos nung latter part lima na lang kaming natira sa bahay ng Big 4. So mami-miss mo naman [yung] mga tao. Normal thing lang yung hug kasi brothers and sisters turingan namin.”
Myrtle was flattered though knowing that some of her guy housemates have had a crush on her including Kit Thompson. “Wala po ako maku-comment dun. I’m just very thankful na may mga nagkakagusto sa akin.” She and Kit have kept in touched especially now that they’d be working together in the teleserye Kung Puso’y Masugatan. “Opo palagi kami nagte-text, nag-uusap. Like sa loob ng bahay ni kuya hanggang sa paglabas, best friends kami ni Kit. Tapos very kind siya and very supportive.”
Although starting a showbiz career is her main priority, Myrtle admitted that she’s willing to entertain suitors at this point in her life. Asked if Kit is courting her, she simply replied, “Hahaha! Ayaw ko magsalita po. Siya na lang tanungin niyo po. Pero as of now, best friends kami.” She also refused to choose who between Yves and Kit has the better chance to win her heart. “Wow. Depende siguro sa effort. Tapos wala pa talaga akong planong mag-boyfriend pero may pagasa silang dalawa,” she said.
