After Sarah Geronimo, Gerald Anderson teams up with Cristine Reyes

After "Kimerald" and "Ashrald," actor Gerald Anderson is reported to be moving on to his next onscreen love team.

After being paired with Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo in a number of projects, Anderson is set to become the onscreen partner of actress Cristine Reyes, according to a report from the Philippine Star.

Reyes is reportedly one of the options to star opposite Anderson, after the "Budoy" star's TV project with former love team and former girlfriend Kim Chiu was allegedly put off.

The report comes after Anderson's recent falling out with Geronimo, for whom he has openly expressed admiration since their first film together under Star Cinema, "Catch Me, I'm In Love," in 2011.

In recent weeks, however, Geronimo's parents confirmed that the actor had stopped formally courting their daughter, citing their “rules" that may have discouraged the young actor from pursuing the 24-year-old singer.

4 wheels

This isn't the first time Geronimo's blooming relationship came to an abrupt end.

In 2010, actor-dancer Rayver Cruz was romantically involved with Geronimo, until he was linked to Reyes, who is now his current girlfriend.

It can be recalled that Geronimo and Reyes figured in a controversial spat over Cruz in the same year, when Reyes took to micro-blogging site Twitter to rant about a "drama princess," later on identified to be Geronimo.

The two have since reconciled.

However, with a Cristine-Gerald "love team" reportedly in the works, Geronimo and Reyes' bitter history may become talk of the town anew, as the two may potentially share another leading man.
