Gab Valenciano and Coleen Garcia finally went public with their relationship on "Gandang Gabi Vice," where they admitted that they have been together for almost five months.
"Magpa-five (months) na kami. Actually ito 'yung first time na we are telling the world na kami na talaga," Valenciano told host Vice Ganda on Sunday night.
They first met almost two years ago at a Halloween party.
"The reason why magkasama kami diyan kasi 'yung friend namin nagpa-party party, kami na lang 'yung natira. Ang nakakatuwa diyan we are just really friends lang talaga," Valenciano said.
He added that he and Garcia became close just this year when he became a guest judge on "It's Showtime."
"Nauna 'yung mutual feelings kaysa sa ligaw kasi close friends talaga kami noon. Nagkaka-developan tapos noong umamin na siya noon na may gusto siya sa akin, tapos dating na kami saka siya nanligaw," Garcia said.
Garcia described her relationship with Valenciano as "complete."
"My relationship with Gab ito 'yung walang kulang sobrang kumpleto and iba. Kung bakit kami nagkadevelopan kasi iba 'yung tawa ko kapag kasama ko si Gab and I can be myself kapag kasama ko si Gab," she said.
For Valenciano, he said that he likes Garcia because of her sincerity.
"Sabi ko ibang klase itong babaeng ito, di ko kailangang sabihin na I need you, I love you. ...Marami akong pagkukulang but she accepts me and that's the reason bakit ako nandito ngayon," he said.
In the show, the two also shared their "baby" dogs Balto and Baley and their pet chicken Borris
