Instead of wallowing in self-pity, the Kapamilya network's rising star opts to look at his status positively. Even without that special someone, Gil told Hot Pinoy Showbiz on Thursday that he remains blessed in other facets of his life.
"'Yung pagkawala [ng lovelife], may trabaho ka naman, nakakatulong ka sa family mo. Gumaganda ang career mo," enthused the "Princess and I" actor.
Apparently, Gil believes everything has a "price."
"You lose some, you win some. Lahat naman may time. Alam naman ni Lord yun, so go with the flow muna tayo," explained Gil.
Besides, now isn't really a good time for him to be with someone because "ang problema, wala rin namang signal sa mga location namin, so, 'wag na lang. Itulog na lang."
But his being single doesn't mean he's oblivious to the beautiful people around him.
"Well, ang pinaka-crush ko lang talaga, si Solenn Heussaff talaga. Sobrang ganda niya," confessed the 20-year-old star.
He quickly clarified, rhough, that it's but admiration.
"Ay, hindi ko naman naisip 'yun [courting]. Kasi, sobrang parang goddess naman siya," he shared
In fact, Gil revealed that he had only met Heussaff in person two days ago.
The experience?
"Nagpa-picture ako!" he blurted.
Meanwhile, Gil refuted rumors that he's wooing Kapuso actress Sarah Lahbati.
"Lumalabas kami kasama ng "PBB" [Pinoy Big Brother] guys.
"Pero never kaming lumabas or nag-usap. Wala po talaga. Wala kayong makikita na lumabas na kaming dalawa lang," Gil insisted.
