Gerald Anderson Went To Egypt To Mend His Broken Heart?

I’m sure I’m not the only one babbling on Twitter(and everywhere else) about the sad outcome of Gerald Anderson and Sarah Geronimo‘s I really thought this time Sarah would finally feel normalcy in life. She’ll finally get to experience what other women her age are experiencing in life and love. But alas, that is not the case. To quote her from last Sunday before she childishly and awkwardly twirled around on stage while hiding her teary-eyed face on her Mother’s shoulder, “MUNTIK NA.”

Anyhoooooooooo, the other element in this whole drama is Gerald Anderson. I guess he’s going to Egypt to spend time with his family. It’s his much-needed vacation after working for a long time.

“It’s just the time for my family.

“At the end of the day, our family is the most affected.

“Lahat naman tayo kailangan no’n, e,” ani Gerald.

(source)

Call it vacation, bonding with family, or mending a broken heart, it’s good that Gerald is taking this time away from everything. He needs this time as well before answering any questions from the Press. Enjoy your vacation Gerald and I hope you find the solace that you surely deserves after visiting the Holy Land with your family.

Before people start throwing rotten tomatoes at me for seemingly taking Gerald’s side on this whole thing, let me just say that I really can’t completely blame Sarah’s Mother or both of her parents here. There has to be a point in Sarah’s life, especially now that she’s 24, when she starts putting her foot down and decide for herself. Using “Dahil sa Mommy ni Sarah” excuse would be redundant. Sarah just can’t wish or hope for FREEDOM. She’ll actually need to grab the reins and start pulling herself. She’s not 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, or 21 anymore. She’s 24 with sizable talent fee. And that’s my .2 cents worth of opinion regarding Sarah Geronimo.
