Kapamilya teen star Kathryn Bernardo has finally admitted on national television that she and loveteam Daniel Padilla have reached the mutual understanding (MU) stage.
Pressed by “Kris TV” host Kris Aquino, the “Princess and I” lead actress admitted that although there is no existing boyfriend-girlfriend relationship between them since they are both too young, she and Daniel are sort of ‘exclusively dating’.
Kris: “Sa inyong dalawa...pwede na ba?”
Kathryn: “Di pa po pwede eh.”
Kris: “Kelan pa?”
Kathryn: “Siguro po ‘pag 18 na pwede na. Feeling ko automatic pag 18 may freedom ka pero depende pa rin sa ‘yo yun kung kelan o gusto mo na ba talaga.”
Kris: “MU pwede?”
Kathryn: “Feeling ko pag MU pwede naman.”
Kris: “What is MU?”
Kathryn: “Parang di ba may inspiration ka, na-attract kayo sa isa’t isa pero wala kang right na magselos, wala kang right na magtampo-tampo kasi di naman kayo, parang friends lang kayo...pero di siya ordinary friend kasi MU kayo, parang special friends. Malabo po siya, magulong usapan.”
Kris: “So medyo ganun kayo ngayon?”
Kathryn: “Ganun po...(then she looked at Daniel).”
Asked if there is someone courting her other than Daniel, Kathryn said no one.
There were rumors, however, that Kapamilya star Dominic Roque is wooing her. In fact, the young actor already expressed his admiration for Kathryn on “Bandila” last June 19.
Daniel, on the other hand, told “The Buzz” on August 12 that he won’t get in the way if his rival would pursue his plan for Kathryn.
“Siyempre wala naman akong magagawa dahil hindi ko naman pag-aari si Kathryn. Nasa kanya naman ‘yun kung gusto niya si Dominic o kung sino man. Malulungkot na lang tayo,” the young actor said.
