Sarah Lahbati Sinaving Career Muna bago ang Lovelife

Twenty-year-old actress Sarah Lahbati is flattered that Richard Gutierrez finds time to visit her and waits until she’s done rehearsing for the variety show "Party Pilipinas." But a romance with Richard is not yet in Sarah’s mind. She thinks it’s not yet time for her to have a boyfriend.

"I'm not confirming anything or denying anything but right now we're just both happy. May tamang oras para diyan," she said.

Sarah and Richard topbill GMA7's primetime series "Makapiling Kang Muli." They've been rumored to be an item since they began working together.

Sarah doesn't deny her fondness for Richard. She said their personalities and love for adventure make them click.

"Yung personalities namin and common friends ang naglapit sa aming dalawa," she quipped.

Common denominators

According to Sarah, they both do Muay Thai, are into Mixed Martial Arts, jujitsu, target shooting and diving.

"Marami kaming parehong hilig. We both love traveling and exploring different things. Like Richard, gusto ko yung adrenaline rush at mag-discover ng mga places na di pa napupuntahan ng mga tao."

Sarah likes it that she and Richard are focused on their craft and in making their soap opera as interesting and beautiful as ever. Sarah feels luck that Richard, who is 10 years older than her, helps her with her acting.

"Ilang taon na siya sa showbiz samantalang ako ilang taon pa lang. Marami na siyang alam at mga experiences. I'm very grateful that he is open-minded and willing to share his knowledge."

She added that their age gap doesn’t keep them from being open to each other. They can throw in and receive ideas that could make their characters better on screen and make the story more exciting.

Off-camera, Sarah intimated that she finds Richard a sincere person with a big heart.

"He is always willing to help anyone na nangangailangan ng tulong. Yun ang nakikita ko sa kanya. He is passionate and open-minded which is also very important sa mga artists."

Would she break her principle of career first before love because of Richard?

"Hindi naman. kasi talagang hard worker ako. Nagkakasakit na nga ako sa kakatrabaho. Kung baga love ko talaga ang ginagawa ko and

I'm very passionate about acting. So habang kaya, work muna," Sarah stressed.

Aside from "Makapiling Kang Muli," "Party Pilipinas" and promotuonal tours, Sarah is in Tofel Lee's horror-thriller  "The Basement." She is paired with former love team Enzo Pineda, and is "scared" of what she'll be doing in the movie. The challenges her role requires excites her.
