Ginagampanan ni Sid Lucero ang papel ng isang sundalo sa pelikulang Death March.
Ang pelikulang ito ni Adolf Alix ay tumatalakay sa kasaysayan ng mga Amerikano at Pilipinong prisoners of war, na umabot sa 75,000 ang bilang, na mula sa Bataan ay dinala sa Camp O’Donnell sa Capas, Tarlac, noong World War II.
Makakasama ni Sid sa cast sina, Zanjoe Marudo, Sam Milby, Jason Abalos, Carlo Aquino, Felix Roco, Gian Magdangal, at Jacky Woo na siya ring producer ng pelikula.
Sabi ni Sid tungkol sa kanyang role, “My character’s name is Miguel.
“And I really find this character very, very interesting, because, number one, it’s really hard to do, sobrang hirap.
“Getting delusional was common during that time, especially when you are so tired.
“My character, basically, the way I see it kasi, iyong conflict niya is whether to go on or not to go on.
“Iyong character ko, parang … dying is an easier choice, e.
“It was an internal struggle within the Death March, and to the point that he doesn’t care anymore.
“It’s a story of survival, e.
“Kaya sana ay maramdaman ng mga manonood, lalo na iyong mga kababayan natin, kung ano ang pinagdaanang hirap ng mga World War II veterans natin… sana.”

“After ng Legacy, doon na ako nag-sign. Two years yata… I don’t know what the technicalities, e.
“The way Ricky [Gallardo, his manager] and I work, he just give me this project, and he gives me this choice if I want to do it or not.
“Pero most of the time, hindi ako tumatanggi, e.
“Pero wala naman sa akin iyon kung exclusive ako or not, ‘coz I believe in one industry—although I respect that.
“And I’m loyal naman to whoever is giving me a job.”
