Xian Lim said that he is now working on the teleserye Ina, Kapatid, Anak that will pair him up again with Kim Chiu. The popular onscreen couple first teamed up in My Binondo Girl. Does Xian feel pressure that they must surpass the success of their team up's previous project? “Ang ginawa namin sa (My) Binondo Girl in-enjoy lang talaga namin ‘yung moment, ang pagtanggap ng mga tao and this time this is gonna be the same. Tututukan namin ang mga roles namin,” Xian declared.
The actor was also asked for his reaction on Kim’s admission in a separate interview that she considers Xian as the closest guy to her. “Nakaka-touch. Siyempre di ba masaya kasi siya naman ang palagi kong kasama,” replied Xian sheepishly. “Kilala na siya ng mga mom ko, mga kaibigan ko and same thing on her side din naman. Sana magustuhan nila ako mabuti naman akong tao.” The actor may not be showy about courting Kim but their friends attested to this, including Kim, who also revealed that Xian is also making effort to win the approval of Kim’s family. When asked if he will continue on pursuing Kim, Xian replied, “Ang sasabihin ko lang, basta andito lang ako para sa kanya. If ever meron siyang kailangan, if ever meron siyang problema, andito ako para problemahin ‘yun kasama siya.”
Meantime, Xian is also glad about the positive feedback on the music video he posted in the Internet. The video showed Xian with Matteo Guidicelli, Maja Salvador, Kim and non-showbiz friends, singing to the song "Call Me Maybe." This was made during his last birthday celebration. “Mahilig akong gumawa ng video, nakakatuwa kasi naka-upload na naman ako ng video and this time around kasama na sina Maja. Before pa gusto ko nang gumawa ng video, like (ng ginagawa namin) ni Matteo. Nakagawa kami ni Matteo (ng video). Masarap kasi pag ‘yung mga kaibigan lahat ng videos puro sarili ko nire-record ko. Ngayon may kasama na akong iba (sa video). I really like it and nakakataba ng puso na like ‘yung birthday ko andun silang lahat. Nakakatuwa kasi nga I don’t really celebrate my birthday and this time ilang beses kong isinelebrate, parang two weeks.”
