Even off the football field, Azkals player James Younghusband is "very happy" these days.
More than six months since he confirmed his breakup with his long-time girlfriend Fiona Faulkner, Younghusband is now happily dating again.
"[I'm] very happy," Younghusband told "Showbiz Inside Report" in an interview aired on Saturday.
"She's a fashion designer, and I met her after we came third in the challenge cup actually," he added.
Younghusband is referring to the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup in Nepal, held last March.
At the time, however, Younghusband said he was not ready to be in a relationship, as it had been only over a month since his breakup with Faulkner.
"I wasn't ready then, but after a couple of months I was ready, and I'm happy about it," he said.
Whereas his brother, fellow Azkals player Phil, is vocal of his admiration for his girlfriend, actress Angel Locsin, James is known to prefer keeping his relationships private.
The football player did not give further details on his current partner.
