Gerald Anderson and Kim rekindle romance?

Gerald Anderson was all smiles when asked on whether his onscreen reunion with former girlfriend Kim Chiu has rekindled their romance off-camera.
At the sidelines of a fashion show held Tuesday night at the ongoing Philippine Fashion Week, Anderson spoke to reporters on his latest big screen outing "24/7 In Love," which is set to hit theaters nationwide on November 21.

The romantic-comedy movie is the 20th anniversary film offering of ABS-CBN's talent management outfit Star Magic. It will also see the first onscreen team-up of Anderson and Chiu since appearing together in "Catch Me, I'm In Love" in 2011.

Speaking on the progress of the filming for "24/7 In Love," Anderson said: "Mga two days ago tapos na po. Last day namin ni Kim, so sobrang exciting para sa mga 'Kimerald' [fans] din 'yan."

During the four years preceding their controversial breakup in 2010, Chiu and Anderson were halves of what is considered to be among the most successful "love teams" of their generation, "Kimerald."

Having started filming for "24/7" in August, have they "rekindled" their romance offscreen?

Laughing, Anderson said, "Alam niyo, pag napanood niyo 'yung mga eksena namin, balikan niyo ko kung ano sa tingin niyo."

"Pero nung nakasama ko ulit si Kim sa movie, bumalik 'yung mga dating memories, at naging komportable kami sa isa't isa," added Anderson, who was romantically linked to Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo for a time.

Referring to the loyal fans of "Kimerald," Anderson expressed happiness over their dedication and unwavering support for his team-up with Chiu.

"First day pa lang naman ni Kim sa movie namin, parang naging fiesta sa set, kasi ang dami naming pagkain tapos bumisita sila," he said.

"Sobrang suporta talaga 'yung mga fans. 'Yung last film namin ni Kim sobrang tagal na, pero andyan parin sila," he added.
