Actor Gerald Anderson said he does not want to fan the flames anymore concerning allegations that he was the reason the mother of Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo fired two of the singer’s staff.
The October 2012 issue of YES! Magazine cited a source saying Geronimo’s mother Divine dropped the singer’s makeup artist Jing Monis and stylist Eric Pe Benito because of their supposed “allegiance” to Anderson.
Monis denied the report, saying the only reason he and Sarah parted ways was because he has become busy managing his own salons.
Pe Benito, on the other hand, confirmed that he was removed as the Geronimo’s stylist soon after the singer’s birthday concert at the Araneta Coliseum last July.
In an interview with “The Buzz” aired on Sunday, Anderson said he would rather not comment on the matter
“Ayaw ko na pong pag-usapan iyon kasi ayon, lumabas naman. Nasa inyo na ho iyon, sa mga nakabasa noon. Kumbaga huwag na ho nating pahabain pa. Tama na ho, ayaw ko na hong pag-usapan pa... There’s no reason para pag-usapan pa iyon,” he said.
Asked if he would like to defend Geronimo’s mother on the issue, Anderson said: “Ang sinabi ko ho dating dati pa na bigyan ho natin ng respeto. Iyon nga eh, hindi pa ho natin ibinibigay.”
Meanwhile, Anderson just shrugged off rumors that he and Geronimo are just keeping their relationship a secret.
