Jericho Rosales shed light on the issue linking him to Marie Digby. He explained that the YouTube sensation is just a friend. He said that he was not bothered at all when the said issue came out, though he avoided answering the question on whether they previously went out.
Jericho also confirmed that he is open to working with former girlfriend Heart Evangelista when the right time comes. He refused to comment on the claim that Heart is allegedly planning on getting married to Brazilian-Japanese boyfriend Daniel Matsunaga. “I don’t know, no comment unless marinig ko talaga [from her], I cannot comment on that. Sobrang seryoso [ng topic].”
Asked if he is happy for her, he replied, “Yeah, of course. Wala akong masamang tinapay.”
Presently, Jericho Rosales recently flew to the United States to study acting and directing for two months. He explained that he wants to improve on his craft. “Para sa akin dapat constant ang learning, hindi natatapos, [dapat] tuloy-tuloy lang. Kunwari binigyan ako ni Lord ng opportunity, kunwari [a project] here or abroad, prepared ako. Isa lang itong paghahanda,” he share.
When asked if he will still push through with his plan to pursue a Hollywood career, Jericho explained that he really needs to work hard for it because it won’t be easy. “Kelangan ng maraming prayers, kailangan ng maraming opportunities. Hindi siya ganun kadali, hindi sya ‘yung basta-basta na walang palakasan. Kailangan malakas kang magdasal and when you get the opportunity, kailangan meron kang weapon, [dapat] prepared ka. That’s why pangarap ko ‘yun eh, I believe na ‘pag meron akong desire sa puso ko, and I pray that the Lord [will] bless my desire, ibig sabihin sa kanya galing ito. Sa Kanya galing ang desire ko ibe-bless Niya ‘yon.” Jericho previously did the international film Subject: I Love You that was released in the US last April.
