Actress Jessy Mendiola finally broke her silence about rumors romantically linking her to hunk actors Matteo Guidicelli and Derek Ramsay.
In an interview with “The Buzz” that aired on Sunday, Mendiola admitted that someone informed her that there is a picture of her with Guidicelli at an event going around the Internet.
However, the actress explained that it just so happened that she was with Guidicelli.
“May nag-tweet sa akin tungkol doon. Nagkataon lang na kaming dalawa 'yung na-picture-an. Ang ginawa niya, to get my attention for the picture, parang kinalabit niya ako. Hindi ko alam na the whole time, when the picture was taken, 'yung hand niya nandoon pala sa knee ko or sa leg. That was second time. 'Yung first time, kasama namin yung buong cast ng ‘Isla,’” she said.
Mendiola and Guidicelli are working together on the "Precious Hearts Romances" series “Isla,” their first team-up together.
Meanwhile, the actress also said it is not true that she and Ramsay are going out on dates.
Mendiola said she does not even know Ramsay personally.
“Oh my God hindi. I don’t know Derek personally pero hindi ko siya ka-close. I don’t know. Kasi that time na sinabing nasa mall ako with him, nasa taping ako,” she explained.
