Emerging superstar Kathryn Bernardo is looking every bit a royalty in her cover appearance for fashion magazine Meg.
Photographed by Seven Barretto, the "Princess and I" star is seen wearing a purple dress on the magazine's November 2012 cover.
Bernardo was styled by Rain Dagala and Portia Ladrido, with art
direction by Mica Santos. The Kapamilya star's makeup was done by Ting
Duque, while John Valle attended to Bernardo's signature long straight
hair.
Shortly after Meg released the teaser image of the cover on social
networking sites, fans of Bernardo took to micro-blogging site Twitter
to express their excitement over the 16-year-old's magazine outing.
The hashtag "#KathrynOnMeg" even made it to the top local trending topics on Twitter on Wednesday.
Appearing on the cover of Mega magazine for the same month, meanwhile, is actress-singer Zsa Zsa Padilla.
Unlike Meg's bright, zesty take on Bernardo, Padilla's cover
appearance reflects years of "ups and downs" for the 48-year-old
singer-actress.
According to Mega's official website, Dolphy's widow talks about
"death, illness and inner strength" in the magazine's November 2012
issue.
For the cover, Padilla was styled by Patrick Galang, LA Ferriols and
Jef Fronda. She was photograpped by Sara Black, with art direction by
Suki Salvador and Mika Santos. Padilla's hair and makeup were done by
Nante Alingasa and Juan Sarte respectively.
