Lucy Torres nagselos nga ba sa kissing screen nina Richard Gomez at Dawn Zulueta

By Lucy Torres' count, her husband Richard Gomez and his former girlfriend Dawn Zulueta kissed four times in one episode of their top-rating drama series.

"Ang sabi niya (Gomez) sa akin, ‘Honey, dalawang beses lang kami nag-kiss,'" Torres told ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, referring to Gomez and Zulueta's much-awaited kissing scene in the top-rating series "Walang Hanggan."

"Kaya binilang ko nang mabuti ‘yung panahon na may halikan sila doon. Halik pa dito (points to her neck). Sabi ko, ‘Ang sabi mo sa akin, dalawang beses lang. Binilang ko, apat ‘yun!’ ‘Yung nakita pa lang natin ‘yun ha, wala pa ‘yung time na nag-cut sila," Torres added, laughing.

An avid "supporter" of the Gomez-Zulueta "love team," Torres' good-natured reaction comes after months of anticipation for the "kissing scene" of the former real-life couple, which proved to be a hit not only for the congresswoman, but also among audiences of the top-rating soap.

Last Thursday, Marco (Gomez) and Emily (Zulueta) finally exchanged vows after their aborted first try at wedded bliss. The "Walang Hanggan" episode saw the former real-life couple kiss onscreen, after much ado throughout the series' nine-month run.

It can be recalled that Zulueta, who is now married and with children of her own, had expressed reservations to do "kissing scenes" with Gomez, who has a daughter with Torres.

Onscreen, however, their "love team" is still a hit among their long-time followers, as well as young audiences of "Walang Hanggan."

On September 27, when their wedding and honeymoon scenes were aired, the ABS-CBN drama series drew an nationwide audience share of 36.5%, according to the TV ratings data of Kantar Media. The Coco Martin-starrer's competing program, "Luna Blanca," only managed to garner 15% ratings.

The onscreen union also drew raves on micro-blogging site Twitter, where, shortly after the episode aired, hundreds of "tweets" pushed the hashtag #DawnAndRichardWeddingThePhenomenalKiss to the top local trending topics.

First aired in January this year, "Walang Hanggan" is now on its last four weeks. It airs weeknights after "Princess and I" during ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida block.
