Actor Paulo Avelino has added "singer" to his resume as he launched his self-titled debut album under Universal Records on Tuesday.
In an interview during the press launch of his CD, Avelino admitted that singing is one of his secret passions.
"Noong bata pa ako, lumaki ako sa mga kantang pangbanda like Parokya ni Edgar at Eraserheads ay pumasok din nga sa isip ko na gusto long subukan," the "Walang Hanggan" actor said.
Avelino said the CD is his offering to his fans who have been very supportive of his projects.
"I think kaya may album dahil sa ganda na rin ng career ko at bilang pasasalamat sa fans ko," he said.
Included in his six-track CD are covers of OPM hits like "Gaano Kadalas Ang Minsan," "Your Love," "Yakap sa Dilim," "Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal."
Meanwhile, Avelino said his last taping day for the hit primetime series "Walang Hanggan" might be on October 26.
"Malungkot ako at magtatapos na 'yung show pero kailangan harapin lang," he said.
