Actor Gerald Anderson revealed that one of his major investments since joining show business is a luxury car.
Unknown to many, Anderson is not only passionate in acting but also in collecting cars.
The 23-year-old actor said his interest in cars started when he was still young as he would always tell his parents that he would want to have his own set of wheels.
“Hilig ko talaga ang mga sasakyan. Bata pa lang ako, kapag nakakakita ako ng mga kotse, sinasabi ko sa mom and dad ko na gusto kong bumili,” he said.
Among his vehicles, Anderson said his favorite car is the luxurious Dodge Charger RT which he bought for P3.2 million.
“’BOK’ pa 'yung plaka, pina-personalize ko kasi it was a year after 'Tayong Dalawa' nung binili ko ito, Bok ang tawagan namin doon. It’s a four-door sedan kasi kapag lumalabas ako kasama ko yung friends ko so kasya kaming lahat,” he said.
Calling it his "having fun" car, Anderson said he loves to take it for long drives.
Anderson said he was only 14 when he learned how to drive.
“Natuto akong mag-drive, tinuruan ako ng dad ko. 'Yung family car pa namin iyon na SUV na manual pa. Buti nga na natuto ako sa manual muna kasi naging mas madali,” he said.
Anderson said he really goes the extra mile in taking care of his cars because they are the results of of his hard work.
“Dapat lagi chine-check iyan lalo na kapag galing sa long drive, dapat ipapa-change oil. Ang sarap din kasing alagaan ng mga kotse kasi pinaghirapan ko ang mga ito eh,” he said.
