In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, Chiu said this Christmas getaway is her gift for her siblings.
“Out of the country kasama ko ang buong family ko, iti-treat ko sila. First time nilang lumabas ng bansa so excited sila sobra. Asia lang,” she said.
Chiu, however, said it will just be a short vacation because she has prior work commitments.
“Babalik na for New Year kasi may work pa eh. So kahit konting vacation lang, out of the country, masaya na sila. Masaya ako para sa mga kapatid ko,” she said.
Asked of her wish this Christmas, the “Ina Kapatid Anak” star said: “Wala okay na ako. Basta happy lang lahat and walang problemang dumating. 'Yun na ang wish ko.”
Meanwhile, Chiu feels honored for receiving her fourth Anak TV Award today.
Chiu is among the recipients of the Makabata Star, which is given to those who are thought to be "credible, wholesome, and worth emulating by the youth."
“I’m very happy dahil every year, nakaka-inspire kasi ina-idolize ka ng mga bata, 'yung mga ginagawa mo. Thankful ako talaga for Anak TV,” she said, as she vowed to continue inspiring youth.
“Siyempre kung anong ginagawa ko ngayon, ipagpapatuloy ko lang iyon kasi dahil doon kaya ko nakuha ito eh. I’m very thankful sa mga taong sumusuporta sa akin,” she said.
