PREVIEW magazine has impressed international singing sensation Charice.
Despite the mixed reactions she received from readers, the singer says the Preview team did a great job when it comes to her makeup, hair and the whole editorial spread.
The singer has read some of the negative comments on her magazine cover but she decided to keep mum on the issue and just moved on.
"Ayoko naman i-defend yung sarili ko na baka sabihin nila na peke yun," Charice said in a television interview. "Ang important dun eh tinanggal nila yung pimples ko," she added.
The "Pyramid" singer said she expected those harsh and positive comments from some readers because of the big transformation the magazine made in her, but reiterated she does not let it affect her work.
"For me, part na ng culture natin na yung ibang tao, pag nakita nila yung image ng tao eh pupunahin at pupunahin talaga nila. Sa akin eh tinatanggap ko na lang yun."
What's important according to her is she's happy with what she's doing and having the best time of her life.
"Maraming maraming sa lahat ng suporta at gusto ko lang sabihin na kung sino yung nakikita ninyo ngayon, hindi ko sasabihin na perpekto ako, na sobrang mabait ako, kasi tao lang din ako," she said, adding, "Basta kung ano yung nakikita ninyo ngayon ay yun po ako."
The international singer will be back on the boob tube on February 12 via "Charice One for the Heart", the Valentine's Day special of the Kapuso Network.
