Although long estranged from each other, Dennis Trillo has learned to bury the hatchet and is now willing to work with his ex-girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado.
“Oo naman kasi tapos na ‘yon. Kalimutan na lahat. Magsimula na ng panibago ,” Dennis said on “Showbiz Central,” Jan 29.
“Matagal na rin namang nangyari ‘yon. Kung may pagkakataong gano’n wala naman sigurong problema,” the Kapuso actor stressed.
He said that he would not balk at the chance to work with Jennylyn again.
“Possible naman siguro, pero sa ngayon, focus muna ako sa ginagawa ko. Masaya ako sa buhay ko ngayon.”
Dennis and Jennylyn’s breakup became controversial as allegations of physical abuse surfaced in gossip columns. For a while, the two avoided each other. Until a few weeks ago, Dennis and Jennylyn decided to greet each other when they were both backstage for “Party Pilipinas,” where they are mainstays.
On his current love life, Dennis described his rumored girlfriend Bianca King as “pribadong tao, edukada, sophisticated.”
He insists that they’re not rushing things in their relationship.
“Siyempre wala namang nagmamadali sa amin. Ini-enjoy namin ‘yung oras naming pareho dahil pareho kaming busy. Dahan-dahan lang, hinay-hinay lang.”
He’s grateful for the kind words that Bianca has said about him wherein she also mentioned how her mom liked the Kapuso actor.
“Siyempre gusto ko ring mag-thank you dahil in-express niya freely kung ano talaga ang nararamdaman niya. Malaking bagay ‘yon para sa akin kasi base doon sa mga nakaraan ko, para sabihan ng ganoong bagay, eh, malaking bagay talaga ‘yon sa akin.”
