RHIAN Ramos steps back into the limelight with several developments in her career.
In a taped interview aired recently on ABS-CBN show “Unang Hirit,” Ramos shared that one of her films is poised to conquer the international movie scene. “Kasi ngayon I came back to tell everyone the good news na isa, ’yung ‘The Road’ is international film na… and that ‘My Kontrabida Girl’ tapos na kaming mag-shoot at malapit na siyang ilabas.”
“The Road” is GMA Network’s critically-acclaimed 2011 three-part suspense-horror film starring Ramos along with TJ Trinidad, Ynna Asistio, Barbie Forteza, Louise de los Reyes, Lexie Fernandez, Alden Richards, and Derek Monasterio.
In an earlier interview with “24 Oras” aired on Feb. 17, the 21-year-old actress said she’s mulling over gracing the film’s premiere in Los Angeles. Reports say the film is set to hit theaters in US and Canada starting May 11.
Meanwhile, what officially marked her comeback was a performance on “Party Pilipinas” last Sunday together with her “The Road” co-stars.
Recall that Ramos decided to take time away from showbiz late last year following the rush of controversies about her and ex-boyfriend Mo Twister, which started from their breakup via Twitter, followed by a couple of controversial and intimate videos featuring her and Twister.
