MANILA, Philippines - Jericho Rosales (photo) remains one of today’s most bankable actors. The boy-next-door looker always has a busy schedule attending to his many showbiz commitments. He credits his success to his ability to strike a proper work-life balance by finding time to engage in fun and challenging outdoor activities like surfing and running.

Jericho recently graced the launch of Vaseline Men XTERRA Off-Road Triathlon Series. Presented by Vaseline Men and Sunrise Events, Inc., the event is touted as the world’s premiere off-road triathlon event.

“Engaging in outdoor sports is my way of taking a breather from all the demands of showbiz. The challenges that each activity poses, particularly running, help free my mind. It’s also a fun way of de-stressing. That’s why I encourage everyone to give it a try,” he says.

Jericho certainly won’t have a hard time choosing which activity to take part in as the Vaseline Men XTERRA Off-Road Triathlon Series consists of three legs. The Pang Rave Run, a trail run, which happened on Feb. 26 in Timberland Heights, San Mateo, Rizal. It will be followed by the Vaseline Men XTERRA Weekend on March 17 to 18 in Liloan, Cebu and the XTERRA Putik Pare on Nov. 18 in Clark, Pampanga. Like any disciplined actor, Jericho reminds everyone to adequately prepare before engaging themselves in any outdoor sport. “I get enough rest and exercise, I continue to eat healthy and of course, I make sure my doctor gives me the clearance before I embark on any outdoor sport, especially something as demanding as a triathlon. I also make sure my skin is protected from the elements and the sun, which I get from Vaseline Men,” says Jericho.

With a booming acting career and the proper approach to work and relaxation, Jericho Rosales certainly looks poised to scale even greater heights.
