Piolo Pascual has admitted to having had a bit of difficulty doing comedy, acknowledging that the genre is not his "forte."
"Hindi ako komedyante," said he in an interview on "The Buzz" on May 6.
It is as such that Pascual said he had a hard time working on the rom-com "Every Breath You Take," in which he co-stars with Angelica Panganiban.
The 35-year old actor-singer maintained that the movie is quite the change of pace for him considering that his body of work consists mostly of romantic dramas.
The Ultimate Heartthrob confessed that Panganiban kept him on his toes.
"Mahirap sabayan 'yung comic timic ni Angelica," he said. "Napaka-spontaneous niya, napaka-natural."
Still, he is thankful that Panganiban was quite accommodating.
"Hindi siya maarte, hindi siya mahirap pakisamahan, at hindi ka mai-intimidate sa kanya," said he.
The actor believes that people will find the movie quite entertaining since it's "more relaxing, hindi siya nakaka-pressure."
"Every Breath You Take" is the first time movie team-up for Pascual and Panganiban. The duo first worked together in the 2004 ABS-CBN series, "Mangarap Ka."
Prior, Panganiban admitted in interviews that she had long dreamed of working again with Pascual, whom she said is one of her first showbiz crushes.
