Piolo Pascual Has Been Challenged With His Role as a Priest

“Dahil sa Pag-Ibig” lead stars Piolo Pascual and Jericho Rosales continue to capture the hearts of primetime viewers as the rivalry between their characters, Fr. Alfred and Oliver, intensifies every night.

According to Piolo and Echo, their confrontation and fight scenes in the drama series are challenging. “I was really exhausted because the scene was so heavy. It’s really a challenge to portray the character of a priest who is going through so much in his life,” Piolo said.

While Piolo Pascual struggled with his character, Echo had a different concern towards his role as Oliver. “I had to work out and take care of my body to be fit and prepared for our fight scenes,” Echo shared.

Meanwhile, the plot continues to thicken in “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” as Oliver finally gets the trust of his mortal enemy Leo (Christopher de Leon). Will he finally succeed in destroying the Valderamas? Or can Fr. Alfred still save his family amid his adoptive father’s disappointment on him?
