Ruffa Gutierrez has formally resigned from TV5's Saturday morning showbiz-oriented talk show “Paparazzi” following the controversial "bastusan" issue during her birthday celebration (read related news HERE).
In a statement sent to the media on June 29, Ruffa said she submitted her resignation letter to TV5 entertainment and creative head Perci Intalan on June 27; this, after pondering about “the direction that the show has been geared towards as of late that is no longer aligned to what she wish for herself and for her children and even the causes she stand for.”
She also stated that it’s “far more important… to imbibe the right values for her children and it begins by being a good example to them of what a woman should be.”
Meanwhile, “Paparazzi,” through a taped report on June 30, issued its statement in relation to Ruffa's resignation.

And as they always say, "Life goes on" and so with Paparazzi. On Saturday, Lucy Torres-Gomez sat as one of the show's hosts together with regular hosts Cristy Fermin, Dolly Anne Carvajal, Mr. Fu and Zoren Legaspi.
