Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo doused speculations that it was her mother, Divine, who asked actor Gerald Anderson to stop wooing her.
"No, hindi si Mommy ang nagpatigil kay Gerald na manligaw," Geronimo said on Sunday during "Sarah G Live" on ABS-CBN.
Geronimo's mom also broke her silence and hinted that it was Anderson who gave up on pursuing Sarah.
"No, kami nga ni Daddy [Delfin] ang nagbigay ng permiso sa kanya para ligawan siya [Sarah] sa bahay. Sabi namin, di lang sa text [ang panliligaw], dapat sa bahay kasi babae yung samin but mukhang wala...," Divine said as Sarah was trying to stop her from revealing more details.
Divine told her daughter that God will eventually give her the right man.
"Oo nga, di naman ako nagmamadali, muntik lang...," said Geronimo, after which she cried.
Last week, reports surfaced that Sarah and Gerald ended their special relationship because of Sarah's parents.
Gerald started courting Sarah last February.
