It seems that singer Sarah Geronimo has gotten past whatever heartbreak she has felt weeks ago and has recently faced former suitor Gerald Anderson, blooming and in all smiles.
Weeks since people speculated that Pop Star Princess went emotional on her TV show because Anderson had quit on her, the love team was once again seen together-this time, however, joined for a "date" by a few of their fortunate fans.
"Masaya kami na nakabonding namin 'yung mga sumusuporta samin," enthused Geronimo in an interview aired on "TV Patrol" on Friday.
There seemed to be no trace of bitterness or awkwardness between the two, who were seen laughing and responding to each other's jokes and remarks. Halfway through the event, the camera caught an interesting moment wherein Geronimo was seen mindlessly caressing Anderson's arms.
Instead of being evasive about the incident, Geronimo opted to play it coy, Turning to the Fil-American actor, she then quipped to the media, "Ang sweet namin 'no?"
Meanwhile, both Sasa and Gege refused to address the issue of the fizzling out of their once-blossoming real-life romance. Despite everything that transpired, according to the report, the two were unanimous in saying that they hope for their onscreen romance to last.
Just a week ago, a seemingly upset Geronimo performed the song "If" by Bread on her show "Sarah G Live," apparently cluing people in on how she felt after the romance went into its sad conclusion.
She even accompanied the song with a few ruminations: "Sa buhay natin marami tayong katanungan, 'yung iba may mga kasagutan kaso 'yung iba parang hindi talaga natin maintindihan. 'Yung paulit-ulit nating tinatanong pero hindi natin mahanap ang sagot."
Anderson and Geronimo have starred in a couple of films together before he started courting her in February this year.
