Actor Enchong Dee doesn't see a grand wedding for himself comparable to the much-awaited exchange of vows of Katerina and Daniel in the hit series "Walang Hanggan."
"Ang gusto ko ay maliit lang para mababa ang budget," said Dee, who is open about being interested in young actress Julia Montes, who plays Katerina in the primetime series.
Asked if he wished he was the one exchanging vows with Montes, Dee replied: "Parang ang bata pa namin para ma-imagine ko ang sarili ko na ikinakasal. Imagine? Siguro."
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Dee said when he watched Monday's episode, what he saw was two characters who are really in love with each other.
"Parang ang nakikita ko kasi ay si Daniel at Katerina, hindi naman si Coco (Martin) at si Julia," he said, adding that he's really happy about Montes' success.
"I will be the first one to be cheering for her, to be happy for her, for whatever she achieves," he added.
Dee reported that his relationship with the young actress is still growing, especially since they are now working together on the film "The Strangers," an entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.
"'Yung dati, text, text. Ngayon magkausap na kami ng harapan," said Dee, who will be turning 24 on November 5.
Asked for his birthday wish, Dee replied: "Basta ayaw ko lang magkasakit. 'Yun lang kadi parang nararamdaman ko paunti-unti ay nanghihina."
