Actor John Lloyd Cruz is definitely on a roll.
After the success of his film "The Mistress" with Bea Alonzo, Cruz will be very busy in the coming months as he is slated to shoot more films on top of his upcoming television series "A Beautiful Affair."
In an interview during the victory party of the Star Cinema, Cruz said that he will continue shooting his third film with singer-actress Sarah Geronimo after the hits "A Very Special Love" and "You Changed My Life."
"Ginagawa ko na ngayon. Nagshoot na kami," Cruz said about the sequel.
Cruz is also set to appear in the Star Magic movie with rumored girlfriend Angelica Panganiban. "Yes, mayroon pa din 'yon," he confirmed.
Because of his busy schedule, Cruz admitted that he is taking extra care of his health.
"Kailangang ingatan siyempre isa lang ang katawan ko. My body is my tool. Kung hindi magwo-work 'yung katawan ko, meaning magkakasakit ka, in the end lahat ng project ko ay magsa-suffer," he said.
With the success of "The Mistress," Cruz said he expects to do more complex characters.
"Siguro after nito ('The Mistress') and aside from (the movie with) Sarah, I'm expecting more complex roles, not necessarily off beat but more complex. May sinasabi si Tita Malou Santos (Star Cinema managing director) na hindi typical romcom. But stil gagawa pa din natin 'yon (romcom). I have my movies with Toni and Sarah na nakita ko namang nae-enjoy ng viewers," Cruz said.
