As star of the top-rated Primetime Bida series Princess and I, Kathryn Bernardo said she was happy to be part of another successful project after Mara Clara and Growing Up.
Kathryn admitted that she has definitely matured over the course of the show’s run. “Feeling ko nag-mature ako kasi mas marami akong natutunan ngayon especially with our director. Yan si direk Rory Quintos na talagang super ang dami mong matututunan sa kanya and very strict talaga siya sa amin, pero in a good way naman. Para matuto kami and para matuto ka na mas maging professional kasi makikita mo kung gano ka-professional si Tito Albert,” she said.
The pretty morena said her life has changed even more that the series has grown so popular.
The talented actress said that despite the success, she has not let fame get to her ego. Ganun din naman ako before. Siguro yung nagbago lang medyo mas busy ngayon kasi visible sa Princess and I so maraming kailangan gawin and parang wala din namang masyadong pinagbago. Ako pa rin yung dati. Hindi ko rin nararamdaman na may nagbago,” she said.
Kathryn also shared how she does not let the pressure of work affect her mood.
Even with all the positive feedback that she has been getting from all her projects, Kathryn said that acting is still a big challenge for her. “Mahirap pa din. Ang hirap. Although masasabi ko na light lang yung Princess and I, hindi siya super light kasi andun pa rin yung gusto naming bigat pero maba-balance namin ng light. So yun yung mahirap gawin,” she explained.
As the show ends its run this month, the Princess and I star revealed how she plans to reward herself for all the hard work she’s put into the series. Kahit two days happy na ako dun (laughs),” she said.
