Before Marian Rivera surprised Dingdong Dantes at the TIKTIK premiere night in SM Megamall, she was interviewed by some members of the press who visited the set of Temptation of Wife. It begs the question how Marian was able to pull off her surprise. Well, she asked the press not to tweet anything about it so they won’t ruin her plan. So they didn’t and all went well.
Anyhoooo, in the interview at the set, Marian shared how she’s having a hard time crying coz the work environment is such a happy place. Everyone is just getting along.
“Masasabi ko rito sa Temptation, buong-buo na. Mapa-taping man o hindi, isa yata ito sa pinakamasaya kong set. Dahil magkakasundo lahat ng cast. ‘Yung mga hindi ko ini-expect na magiging close, tapos, magiging close mo pala.
“Basta ang saya-saya ko rito. Lagi kong sinasabi, ‘Ano ba ‘yan? Hindi ako makaiyak sa eksena!’ Kasi ang saya-saya ng paligid ko bilang ako, masaya ako sa lahat ng kung anong meron ako! Wala lang, masaya lang!” dahilan pa ni Yan-Yan.
One opined that one reason she can’t cry is because she’s in love too. Marian agreed wholeheartedly. When asked if she ever felt sadness in Dingdong’s arms, Marian firmly said never and was even glad that she was asked about it so she could inform everyone that there aren’t any days being with Dingdong that she was/is ever sad.
In love kasi siya talaga.
“In love talaga! Ha! Ha! Ha!”
Ilang taon na ba ang relasyon nila ni Dong?
“Ilang taon na kami? Since birth! Chos! Ha! Ha! Ha!” biro ng aktres.
“Hindi ko alam. Hindi ako nagbibilang, eh. Importante, araw-araw masaya ako sa piling…piling niya! Eeeee!” ayon pa sa aktres.
Kelan naman siya naging malungkot sa piling ni Dingdong?
“Wala nga, eh! Mahusay ang pagkakatanong mo du’n! Walang araw na malungkot ako sa kanya!” diin ni Marian.
Marian continued on by sharing her wisdom in the stages of relationship.
Sa una, are-arte lang kayo. Sweet-sweet-an. Getting to know each other.
Pangalawa, may mga selos-selos or whatever na ek-ek na kaartehan lang.
“Pangatlo talagang puputok kasi ang dami-daming nangyayari. Pero after na ma-overcome mo lahat ng ‘yan, magiging masaya kayo. Matatag. Kahit anong intriga pang dumating sa inyo, as long as magkasama kayong dalawa at alam ninyo ang totoo, wala na eh. Dadaan na lang!” paliwanag ni Marian. (source)
Such an accurate description of how relationship works. I’m sure anyone who’s in a committed, responsible, and mature relationship would agree completely. It’s not always good times, there’s always going to be stress in any way, shape, or form. Don’t ever delude yourself into thinking that once you’re with the person you want to be with that everything is all hunky dory. Not at all. For people like us who are not in showbiz only have to deal with the nuances of our job, daily grinds of life, bills, and being the best parent you can be, if you have kids. In the case of Marian and Dingdong, albeit not being married or having kids(yet), I reckon’ the stress and pressure of being in showbiz which we only really see a glimpse of takes a toll in their relationship too, or any other showbiz couple for that matter. But just like anyone in a relationship, you’ll work through and fight for it. As long as there’s the love and the desire to be with each other no matter what, all will be OK. The reward of being happy with someone you love is all worth it. Anything else that might come in the future will just be a dust off of your shoulders. This goes for showbiz and non-showbiz couples.
