Aside from the hit Primetime Bida series Princess and I, Kathryn Bernardo said she feels lucky to be part of the upcoming Star Cinema Metro Manila Film Fest entry Sisterakas. “Siyempre buti nasama ulit ako ngayon for the MMFF and yung parade so mag-pa-parade ulit kami. Super suwerte ako kasi nasama pa ako kina Ms. Kris (Aquino), Vice Ganda, and Ms. Ai-Ai (de las Alas). Sila yung mga big stars natin eh so yung makasama ko sila big deal na. Ito yung movie namin na parang lahat ng hinahanap mo nandito na. Of course comedy siya so for family. For a change naman, comedy ako. Anak ako ni Ai-Ai dito,” she shared.
This coming Christmas, Kathryn admitted she is excited to go on a short trip abroad with her family. “We’re planning to go to Hong Kong pero yung New Year hindi ko pa alam. With family. Family lang kasi siyempre pag Christmas naman sa family natin isi-spend yan,” she answered when asked if there was a chance Daniel Padilla would be going with them.
Due to her busy schedule, Kathryn said she has not started Christmas shopping for anybody yet, not even for Daniel. “Wala pa. Kahit na ano wala pa ako regalo. Wala pa talaga akong naiisip. Kasi sa family ko wala pa akong nabibili. Wala pa akong maisip eh kasi siguro mag-la-last minute shopping na lang ako sa mga reregaluhan ko,” she said.
When it comes to herself, the talented teen actress said she is not expecting anything from her leading man but will just consider rewarding herself with something when she leaves the country. “Wala, ayoko namang manghingi, parang ang kapal naman nun (laughs). Wala, walang special requests. Kung ako naman bibili para sa sarili ko, I’m still thinking about it. Kailangan ko mag-isip ng magandang reward siguro na bibilhin ko na lang pag nag-Hong Kong kami,” she added.
When it comes to Princess and I, Kathryn said she hopes the fans of the show will be patient in waiting for Princess Mikay to decide who is the right prince for her. “Naku, konting hintay na lang, malapit na malaman kung kanino siya mapupunta. Basta kung ano naman meron sa storya, meron namang reason kung bakit yun ginagawa ni Areeya so ano lang yun, depende na lang sa pagkakaintindi pero si Areeya ayaw niya lang na makasakit, ayaw niya maging unfair ganun, so yun lang,” she said. The 16-year-old actress revealed they are heading back to Bhutan to shoot more scenes for the teleserye in January 2013.
