Yes 100 Most Beautiful Stars 2012: Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, KC Concepcion, Piolo Pascual make list 6th time

Yes! Magazine reveals list of 100 Most Beautiful Stars for 2012, as featured on its July 2012 issue.

On top of Yes! 100 Most Beautiful Stars 2012 list is "Showtime" host and 2011 Box Office Queen Anne Curtis, who now joins the ranks of Judy Ann Santos, KC Concepcion, Marian Rivera, Kim Chiu and John Lloyd Cruz who have also topped the list in previous years.

It was in 2007 when Yes! Magazine first came up with the "100 Most Beautiful" list and for 6 consecutive years already, these stars have consistently made it: Angelica Panganiban, Bea Alonzo, Gerald Anderson, Iza Calzado, KC Concepcion, Kim Chiu, Marian Rivera and Piolo Pascual.

Meanwhile, Sam Milby who made it non-stop from 2007 up to 2011, is now missing on this year's list.

Kc Concepcion, Judy Ann Santos, at Sam Milby, Bagong Pakaaabangan

The ‘Queen of Teleseryes’ Judy Ann Santos is set to make her grand return on primetime television via upcoming drama series on ABS-CBN titled “Against All Odds.”




Judy Ann will be joined by a powerhouse cast that includes Sam Milby, KC Concepcion, John Estrada, Mylene Dizon, Jessy Mendiola, Joseph Marco, Bryan Termulo, Mr. Tirso Cruz III, and Ms. Coney Reyes.

KC Concepcion, May Nilinaw sa Breakup Nila ni Piolo Pascual

KC Concepcion admitted that she was slightly traumatized when with happened to her and Piolo Pascual but not to the point of being completely afraid to fall in love again. And, the trauma is mostly on the idea that other people were sort of, too involved with happened even though they didn’t really know the whole story.

Fear of falling in love again? No, I’m excited to fall in love again.

    “And if it happens, open ako dun, but I don’t know. “Kung na-trauma ba ako, malamang naman, siguro kahit papaano mayroon. “Imposibleng sabihing wala, pero okay na rin yun kasi ang girls, hindi naman agad-agad,” nakalilimot ang ibig niyang tukuyin “Ayoko ring pumasok sa isang [relasyon agad na] parang sabihing rebound.
    “I don’t wanna get serious but I’m meeting again… I’m meeting lovely guys but they all know that my priority is work. “They’re really just my friends. I’m keeping them as friends.”

    PUBLIC OPINION. Nilinaw ni KC na hindi siya na-trauma sa love, kundi sa ideya na pinagpiyestahan ng buong industriya ang naging paghihiwalay nila ni Piolo at kung anu-anong mga espekulasyon ang lumabas.

    “Maybe, but hindi naman ako na-trauma sa love, e. Na-trauma lang ako sa… I’m a public figure.
    “I like this [showbiz] world kahit papaano. The world na ipinanganak ako dito. Dito ako lumaki.
    “Hindi ko naman itatago sa mga tao yung buhay ko. Alam na alam nila ang buhay ko.
    “But at the same time, I was traumatized more about yung public na maraming opinion, maraming taong nakialam.
    “Masakit na nga ang nangyari sa kahit na sinong girl, sinong boy mangyari yun, masakit talaga.
    “But mas masakit siguro yung nakisabay na hindi alam ang totoong nangyari.

    “Dun ako na-trauma kaya nga baka mas tahimik na yung next lovelife ko.
    “Na baka nga natatakot lang ako na baka sa susunod, circus na naman ang lovelife ko.
    “Gusto ko mas tahimik, pero hindi ko naman ipagdaramot yun sa mga nagmamahal sa akin.
    “Pero it’s fun. Girls just wanna have fun right?
    “It’s just a smile on my face, dun na muna ako ngayon, dun sa mga smiles.
    “Talagang totoo ang sinasabi nila na there are good guys out there.” (source)

In regards to the progress of what going on between her and Jules Knight, KC shared that Jules knows where he stands. KC admitted to feeling kilig with his courting ways but for now, she’s busy with her career and would just rather be friends right now with him or whoever shows any interest in her for that matter.

For now, KC Concepcion said that she is just happy meeting “really lovely people” and is not rushing to jump in a relationship. “Just because nanligaw, kailangan siya na, but it’s always nice to let them know [that] you appreciate them. But you’re also not ready, but I told Jules that also.” The actress-host was referring to Jules Knight of the British band Blake, who was romantically linked to KC when the musical group came over last March for a concert. In an episode of ASAP, Jules even knelt down in front of KC and publicly asked her out on a date.

Just recently, KC admitted that she continues to keep in touch with Jules, even if the latter has already left the country. “But again, he doesn’t even live here so always ‘pag ganon, where I’m coming from, I’m not ready to make effort yet so much kasi I gave so much of myself in the past.” Before he left, Jules said that they will be back in the Philippines in July to record an album, and added that he hopes to go out with KC again.

Though she has good things to say about Jules, KC suggested that there are a number of factors that might prohibit her from getting romantic with the English musician. “For now I said it naman before, he’s a great guy, he’s very sweet,” KC shared. “Passionate rin siya. Sabi ko, ‘Jules do you have a temper?’ Sabi niya, ‘It’s not a temper, it’s passion.’ Pero okay, sabi ko, he’s really sweet, he’s really nice but I’m not… I don’t want to pressure myself porke’t siya ‘yung nandyan.

“I want to get to know friends, I want to make him a friend. Gusto kong malaman na kung ano ang nakikita ko, ‘yun siya, hindi siya ‘yung best foot forward, but I think I appreciate him as a friend for now.

“And first time rin nangyari sa akin ang ginawa niya publicly, na nangarag talaga ako (when Jules asked her out by kneeling before her). That was also a first, but aside from that it’s also a private, personal thing. Right now I’m not comfortable entertaining it pa na todo-todo.”

KC Concepcion, Mas Type ni Derek Kaysa Kay Anne

FIRST TIME na nagpahayag si Derek Ramsay ng kanyang saloobin sa biglang pagkakaudlot ng pelikula nila ni Bea Alonzo sa Star Cinema.

Ayon kay Derek, nagulat daw siya dahil siya ang kahuli-hulihang tao na nakaalam na hindi na pala tuloy ang project nila ni Bea.

“Honestly, hindi ko alam na hindi na pala tuloy ‘yung movie namin ni Bea, pero naiintindihan ko naman ang Star Cinema kung bakit nagawa nila iyon. According to Tita Malou Santos, marami silang talent na dapat ay mabigyan nila ng project. But since nasa TV5 na ako, ‘yung movie namin ni Bea ay hindi na raw tuloy. Naiintindihan ko ang bagay na iyon pero nagulat lang ako kasi may ilang offer ang hindi ko nagawa. Kasi from Australia, ang iniisip ko nu’n magsi-shoot ako nu’ng sa amin ni Bea, kasi naka five days na ako du’n. But since naintindihan ko naman ang Star Cinema, naiintindhan ko naman ang sitwasyon,” sabi ni Derek nang makausap namin kamakailan.

 Ayon pa rin kay Derek, hindi man natuloy ang movie nila ni Bea ay may pelikula naman siyang sisimulan agad.

“Nu’ng malaman kong shelved na ang movie namin ni Bea, siyempre nalungkot ako. Pero after five minutes, biglang-biglang tumawag ang manager ko na si Jojie Dingcong at sinabi niya sa akin na may gagawin akong movie with KC Concepcion at Anne Curtis, kaya parang nawala agad ‘yung lungkot ko.”

Bukod sa pelikula with KC at Anne, naka-line-up din kay Derek ‘yung movie offer with Sen. Bong Revilla at Gov. Vilma Santos. “Wow sobrang bleassing ito ‘pag nangyari. Kasi imagine Senator Bong Revilla ‘yan… at si Ate Vi! Hindi pa ako artista, idol ko na ‘yan. Si Ate Vi ang hinahangaan kong artista sa buong buhay.”

Bukod kina Ate Vi at Sen. Bong, may plano rin ang Viva Films na i-partner si Derek kay Marian Rivera at Sarah Geronimo, at si Maricel Soriano naman ang para sa Regal. “Ayoko munang magsalita, basta happy ako sa nangyayari sa aking career.”

Paanong hindi magiging happy si Derek gayong tuloy na tuloy na next month ang kanyang bagong show sa TV5 at ito ay ang Amazing Race at Olympics bukod pa na siya ang magho-host ng Miss World-Philippines.

Pero mas naloka kami nang itanong namin sa kanya na kung wala siyang Angelica Pa-nganiban in real life na girlfriend, sino kina Anne at KC ang posible niyang mapusuan?

“Si KC siguro, kasi iba ‘yung dating niya sa akin. Very liberated din siya like me at maganda talaga siya.”

Maganda din daw si Anne, kaya lang, “Magkaibigan lang talaga kami. Hindi ko siya puwedeng ligawan,” pagwawakas ng aktor sa Pinoy Parazzi.

KC Concepcion, May New Movie with Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsay

KC Concepcion is getting ready for her new movie under Viva Films, Nothing Compares To You, with Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsay. KC is excited to start working on this movie especially after what she’d experienced in love and life. KC doesn’t want to be safe in her movie roles anymore.

MATURE ROLE FOR KC? Nang balikan namin si KC, nakangiti ito at sinabing mas may maikukuwento na raw siya dahil tapos na ang kanilang meeting sa bago nilang pelikula.

Ayon kay KC, “Masaya kasi yung role for me… hindi siya masyadong safe.

“And ‘ando’n ako sa time na… sa time ng buhay ko na parang hindi na ako masyadong bagay sa sobrang safe dahil sa pinagdaanan ko na… namulat na yung mga mata ko. Gano’n. “So yun. Excited ako na mero’n akong something new na paglalaruan… na pagtatrabahuan,” pahayag niya.

Ang tinutukoy marahil ni KC dito ay ang kabiguan niya sa pag-ibig matapos ang breakup nila ni Piolo Pascual. Gaano ka-mature na KC ang mapapanood sa bago niyang pelikula?

“Hindi naman siguro sobra. Hindi rin. “Siguro natural lang na paggu-grow up. Yung gano’n.

 “Sana, sa lahat ng napagdaanan ko na experience ko sa buhay, kahit papa’no mailabas ko sa mga eksena para naman matulungan yung ibang babae na magkaroon ng inspirasyon.”

Ano ang bagong makikita sa kanya sa pelikulang kanilang gagawin?

“Siguro first time ko rin makatrabaho si Anne pero… na may babaeng co-star na makatrabaho. “Kasi usually loveteam. Or, uhm… mas nakakatanda sa ‘yo. “So, it’s a first time na dalawang babae kaya parang iba rin for me.”

PRESSURED TO WORK WITH ANNE AND DEREK? Nakakaramdam ba siya ng pressure dahil ang co-stars niya ay galing sa pelikulang No Other Woman na tumabo nang husto sa takilya?

“Yeah! Siyempre naman may pressure. Sino ba naman ako para biglang mapasama sa… “Gano’n naman, e, kahit sa’n ka pumunta…

“But I’m grateful. I’m thankful. I have to make sure na I’ll do my best. “I’ll make sure na magiging maganda yung atake ko sa role ko.

 “I’m very pressured but sa dami ng napagdaanan ko rin, hindi ko na priority yung ma-prove yung sarili ko. “Siguro it’s more of gawin ko lang maganda yung ginagawa ko,” saad niya.

 Ano naman ang opinyon ng kanyang ina na si Sharon Cuneta sa pagtanggap niya ng pelikulang ito?

 “Alam naman ni Mommy. “Masaya siya. Okay naman siya. ‘Sige pagbutihan mo lang. Alam ko namang gusto mo ‘yan….’ She trusts me naman.” (source)

In a another interview with Anne Curtis, she said NCTY is totally different from NOW. It’s more on the lighter side and situations could relate to women these days. It’s still drama, but not as dramatic as No Other Woman. I personally don’t like that title. It sounds cheesy, hah. Nevertheless, good luck to the 3 of them.

KC Concepcion, Nag-Bakasyon sa Hawaii

KC Concepcion, May Bago na Kayang Pag-ibig

Mukhang malapit nang magbukas sa panibagong pag-ibig si KC Concepcion matapos niyang aminin ang paglabas niya kasama ni Jules Knight, isa sa miyembro ng British band na "Blake."

Pero sa kanyang Twitter account, mabilis din ang paglilinaw ni KC na hindi dapat mag-isip ng iba pang bagay ang mga tao dahil kumain lang naman sila ng hapunan ni Jules.

"Offline for now my Tweeties. Mahal ko kayo :) Paalala po, dinner lang po yun, wag po tayo masyadong excited. hehe ^^ xx," ani KC sa mga follower niyang umaasa na maging sila na lang ng British singer.

KC Concepcion and Her Customized Goyard Bag

KC Concepcion arrived at her Cosmo PH swimsuit issue toting around a customized Goyard bag. The designer white tote bears KC’s initials and carries all her necessities like aviators, iPad, lipstick, cell phone, and other things. One notable item in her bag is a notebook where she scribbles her thoughts, quotes, and bible verses.

KC Concepcion, Nagbayad ng P18 million

There appears to be no hard feelings on the part of actress KC Concepcion when she appeared at the launching of the tax collection drive of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in Manila, urging taxpayers to pay taxes.

It will be recalled that the BIR slapped Concepcion, daughter of megastar Sharon Cuneta, some P18 million in deficiency income taxes allegedly due from her income as a movie and entertainment celebrity.

Concepcion did not contest the assessment and readily settled her tax liabilities, thus clearing her of any administrative and criminal liability that errant taxpayers are subjected to under the BIR’s Run-After-Tax-Evaders (RATE) program.

The crowd, which included Revenue Commissioner Kim Henares and Manila Revenue Regional Director Pete Madulara, was delighted when Concepcion sang several love songs during the event.

After signing, the actress urged all taxpayers to file their income tax returns (ITR) and pay the correct taxes before the April 15 deadline to avoid the last minute rush.

Manila-based businessmen and their accountants, including members of the Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industries Inc. and Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, attended the gathering and pledged to support the BIR’s tax campaign that aims to raise P1.066 trillion this year.
