I have been raving about Marian Rivera’s classic LBD look at Wilma Galvante’s birthday party ever since I saw pictures last weekend. Nothing beats the little black dress. If you’re having a problem thinking of what to wear to a party, go for LBD. Although I’m sure Marian didn’t have a hard time thinking of what to wear that day. She probably just felt like going chic and sophisticated for the party which worked out perfectly. Shoot, she can wear anything and she’d still look FABULOUS!
The Primetime Queen amped up her classic look by adding gold accents with a skinny belt to cinch her oh-so-tiny waistline, a pair of gold Christian Louboutin pumps, an oval cutout long necklace and of course, the gold hardware from her black Birkin.
Even Style Bible likes Marian’s classic look. And you know what’s great about this look? You can actually replace the gold accents with either yellow, red, pink, or blue. OR, go for classic all the way by wearing a pearl necklace(Thanks Manang Di for reminding me). That’s how versatile this LBD look is. If I’m not mistaken, Marian’s black dress is from Zara(2990PHP). Philippines website has it but US don’t. Fret not, I’m sure it’s easy to copy this same look with a different black dress. Not all of us can afford to tote around an Hermes bag so go for a black clutch instead!
