Speaking to Push.com.ph, Cruz said it does not matter if they have kissing scenes or not because he does not want to think that the people are only watching their movies for that.
“Siyempre naiintindihan natin where Sarah is coming from and 'yung kanyang management. So kung ano man ang mangyari, meron man or wala, we’d always understand. At saka dalawang pelikula nga na-magic, ‘di ba? So it’s not a problem,” he said.
Cruz said his third movie with Geronimo still has a lot to offer that the viewers should watch out for.
“Ayaw kong isipin na doon lang naka-ankla 'yung story, maraming dapat abangan. Maraming inaabangan sa storya, sa pupuntahan ng dalawang 'yun. It’s not just about a kiss. It’s an issue na dapat manggaling sa creatives, sa kanila dapat,” he said.
Geronimo and Cruz scored mega-hits with their first two movies together -- "A Very Special Love" and "You Changed My Life."
Meanwhile, Cruz shared how much he enjoys working with Geronimo.
“Basta ako, kung paano dapat itrato talaga ang isang leading lady sa set, ganun ko siya ita-trato,” he said.
Cruz also promised to do his best to satisfy the fans who are really waiting for this third installment.
“Ako gusto ko na lang mag-concentrate sa idea na madaming naghihintay dito. Madaming nag-aabang and lahat kami nagaabang, naghihintay rin kami and we’re all very excited. I’d rather focus on that kesa sa mga ibang bagay,” he said.
