Angeline Quinto, Bumirit sa University of Guam

Guam music fans were in for a big treat as Filipino superstars Angeline Quinto and Jovit Boldivino rocked the University of Guam field house May 20 in a sold-out show. Quinto has been a rising star in the Philippines since she earned the top spot on a reality singing competition. Boldivino, meanwhile, is the winner of the first "Pilipinas Got Talent."

Quinto has had chart-topping hits from her self-titled debut, platinum album, including "Patuloy Ang Pangarap," "Wag Mo Kong Iwan Mag-isa," and "Muling Magmamahal." She's also slated for her silverscreen debut at the end of the month, opposite to Coco Martin.

Quinto belted out songs that inspired her to what she is now, like Regine Velasquez's "Pangako" and "Kailangan Ko Ikaw." She even performed her theme song from her upcoming movie "Born To Love You," set to open in May 30. Quinto proved to the audience why she won the coveted award, "Star Power: The Search for the Next Female Pop Star." She captured the audience with her beautiful ballads, and the power in her voice.

Boldivino came out and rocked the field house with songs from Journey and other Filipino ballads like "Paano". The audience got a special treat when the pair sang a duet of "Open Arms" -- a song made popular by the group Journey.

The singers brought themselves down from the stage and made their way to the crowd, which was a special treat for the fans watching the concert. Many of the fans were delighted to have their picture taken with the superstars while they were singing.

"This beats flying to the PI to see her," says fan Eric Dela Cruz of Dededo.

"Her beauty is just the way you see her on stage."

In the end, the Dream Tour 2012 concert was a special treat to the many Filipinos and the non-Filipinos who watched the concert. It also served a good cause as a portion of the proceeds from the show will benefit Erica's House.
